Now, it\u2019s Tim Bohen\u2019s turn. What secrets from deep in his psyche will Tim reveal during his session?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this episode, as Kim coaches Tim, they really get into the nitty-gritty about what could be holding him back in his life and career. This session is super relatable to traders of all levels and experience &#8230; you might just learn something that can help you take charge of your career!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What Holds the Mighty Tim Bohen Back?\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the outside looking in, it\u2019s easy to see Tim Bohen as having the perfect life. He\u2019s the lead trader at StocksToTrade, he co-hosts the fabulous SteadyTrade Podcast \u2014 he has a lot going for him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But as you\u2019ll learn in the podcast, even the mighty have their own demons and issues to work through.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reliable to Others &#8230; To Himself, Not so Much<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If Tim has a problem, it\u2019s this: He\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">too<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> reliable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before you laugh, hear this out. Tim prides himself on being as reliable as possible for others. Here\u2019s the problem: He\u2019s not always capable of allowing himself the same courtesy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s an example: He\u2019s wanted to write a book for the past 10 years but has never been able to make time for himself to really write it. Yet in that time, he\u2019s been there for so many others. He\u2019s done 1,500 webinars and met and exceeded the expectations of others. He feels accountability for others that he can\u2019t seem to enforce for himself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Getting to the Root of It<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the session, Kim leads Tim through a visualization exercise to get to the root of the issues that may be holding him back. Make time to follow along and try the visualization for yourself \u2014 you may be surprised by the results!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Trouble with Helping Others First\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kim makes an important note about helping others: There\u2019s a reason you put your own oxygen mask first in the event of a plane emergency. If you don\u2019t take care of yourself first, you can\u2019t hope to be able to help others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trouble with helping others first is the high price you pay at not having your own needs met. In other words, you sacrifice yourself and your needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So in that, it\u2019s not at all selfish to put yourself first when things really matter. In fact, it just might save your life (or at least your trading career).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Combatting Feelings of Selfishness\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yep, Tim feels selfish when he puts his own needs first. This dates back to when he was 22 years old, and he and a partner started a business.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the time, they were only taking $100 checks for themselves. He felt couldn\u2019t afford to say no, but unfortunately, this became ingrained. Now he\u2019s still in that mode.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At a certain point, he had to prioritize others over himself for survival. It was necessary. So how can he change that pattern? He needs to give himself empathy for not prioritizing himself &#8230; and make some changes!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tim\u2019s Homework<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the episode, Kim and Tim plot out a plan of attack for him to address this issue that may be holding him back in his career, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Finding the value in saying no.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Sometimes, no can really be the kindest answer for both you and the other party involved.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Pausing before saying yes. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re a yes person, what would happen if you took five before agreeing to another responsibility?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Being aware. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How does it make you feel when you get caught in this cycle?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Being accountable. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can you be as accountable to yourself as you are to others?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SteadyTrade Wants to Hear From YOU\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Got a question about Tim\u2019s process, the Wall Street Coach, or trading in general?
