Get your 7-day trial here: <a href=\"https:\/\/stockstotrade.com\/7daytrial\">https:\/\/stockstotrade.com\/7daytrial<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Meet the contestants!<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the episode, you\u2019ll meet both Stephen and Tim\u2019s teams of traders for the challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Stephen\u2019s team:<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Liz <\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Who she is:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A Brooklyn-based graduate student, YouTube sensation, and cat owner who is studying social work. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Her trading story:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> While working as a nanny, Liz was making enough income to give trading a try. She lost money and quickly realized she\u2019d need to educate herself before she could profit.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She joined the Tim Sykes Trading Challenge and has been paper trading for a year, but has only dipped a toe into active trading. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Goals: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She\u2019s ready to become a successful trader. She wants financial freedom and wants to be able to share what she learns with others. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Louis<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Who he is:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Born in Puerto Rico but of Dominican descent, he was raised in New York City and now works in a luxury fashion house on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>His trading story: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After two years of studying, he began trading with $5,000 this spring. Losses mounted, and his account dipped below $1,300. However, this prompted him to really hit the books, and now he\u2019s beginning to recover. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Goals:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In his application, Louis referred to himself as having \u201cuncanny instincts and unparalleled charisma.&#8221; He thinks he can bring these traits to his trading. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He wants to follow his mom\u2019s wise advice to \u201csurround yourself with people who are better than you and smarter than you\u201d and learn from Tim and Stephen! <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Jude<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Who she is: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jude is a massage therapist from Vancouver. You may remember her from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=odDwVwuHTPA\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Episode 31<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> when she made Tim cry with an original song she sang.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Her trading story: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jude didn\u2019t want to make money fast: she\u2019s genuinely intrigued by the process of trading. While her story was detailed in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=33ZhbHxSjNg\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Episode 32<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Jude has progressed in trading but is still trying to find her specific niche. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Goals: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To find what works for her as a trader. She wants to keep learning so that she can realize her potential, and she\u2019d like to help others do the same.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Tim\u2019s Team:<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Cara <\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Who she is: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cara is from Texas and works as an IT consultant, traveling and helping doctors and nurses transition into new medical record systems. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Her trading story: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cara is one of the greenest traders in the competition, but Tim thinks that could be a good thing, as it means she doesn\u2019t have as many preconceived notions or bad habits.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cara is still trying to work on her emotions while trading. She\u2019s pretty new and hasn\u2019t traded much, but she\u2019s been studying a LOT as part of the Tim Sykes Trading Challenge. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Why she wants to do it: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She loves Karmagawa, which is Tim Sykes\u2019s charity. She wants to be able to give back in similar ways, and she sees trading as the gateway to making that financially possible.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Chris<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Who he is: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chris really attracted SteadyTrade\u2019s attention with an incredible video featuring samples of Tim and Stephen (you\u2019ve got to watch this one on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/jg6JyqypZ5Q\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">YouTube!<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Chris is a DJ and video editor, loves music, and loves trading. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>His trading story: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chris got his start in 2008 after the big market crash when he saw everything was down and figured it was a good time to buy low.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That worked, but not forever. Since then, he\u2019s been trying to find a niche. Tim Sykes\u2019 DVDs inspired him to try lower priced stocks but he\u2019s still not sure if he\u2019s found his perfect place.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Goals: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He wants to pay off his house and make more income. To do that, he\u2019s got to lock down how to be profitable and that\u2019s why he feels he needs the paper trading challenge. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Joshua<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Who he is: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Joshua is the cleaning guy for Lady Gaga\u2019s tour bus. Kidding! He\u2019s from Florida and he\u2019s a 25-year-old firefighter. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>His trading story: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He started trading about 2 years ago, motivated by the idea of making more money. While trying to find his way, he discovered low priced stocks. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He opened up an account about a year ago but suffered a pretty big $1,000 loss which caused him to hit the pause button and go back to basics. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Goals:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> After his big loss, he wants to improve his psychology and his technical know how.
